Flared Jeans and a Blanket Scarf

Once in a while I get a little stir crazy actually take myself out to a brick and mortar store to do some old fashioned in-store shopping. I'm so cerebral and strategic about online shopping sometimes it's nice to just go somewhere to look and touch and play a little 'dress-up'. My favorite place to do this (holla!!) is Nordstrom Rack. You too?!?

I took myself out last weekend and found lots of lovely things (which I demonstrated a ton of restraint by leaving there) but fell most in love with this double-sided, super-plush, blanket scarf. This thing is enomous (even for blanket scarf standards) and oh-my-wow is it so snuggly, so soft, and so luxurious. It's a little too big to be an 'indoor' scarf, but it made an excellent wrap in lieu of a jacket over a sweater for a chilly stroll in the park. Layered over my stretchy Free People flares, I'm in my newest go-to weekend outfit. What's your weekend outfit these days?
