Oh me, oh my, is it ever time to get creative with the layering! Lately the below freezing temps have been made worse by high humidity and a steady 18mph 'breeze'. The cold is absolutely penetrating! This French Connection fur vest, one of my favorite purchases this season (last seen HERE), stands up really well to the seeping Midwest cold. I'm loving it because this statement-maker double times it as a super versatile layering piece. Just look at it jazzing up my basic denim jacket, and best of all, I'm toasty and warm!
