It's been a really long time since I bought myself a new handbag. I tend to be very finicky (and also a little frugal) which can be a difficult combination to please. From Fendi to Forever 21 I just hadn't seen anything that had the right look at the right price point until I saw this Italian suede number from Banana Republic. Firstly, the nude color really spoke to me. I have plently of cognac and saddle colored bags, but nothing truly nude.I love the accordian structure (separate compartments are a huge plus), I love the gold hardware (very Chloe 'Faye'), and I love the chain and strap drop as it's easily worn as a crossbody or shoulder bag. Aaaannnd, I was able to swing it for just over $100. Perfect!
The earrings? Well, as much as I like to consider myself a minimalist, I'm a total sucker for anything fringed or tasseled. I'd been thinking about these stunners for a few weeks and when they finally went on sale I knew it was a sign. I think they'll be handy for sprucing up basic rompers and tank dresses, both of which I live in all sumer long.
And since we're on the subject of Banana Republic, they're running a major sale through April 2nd (online) and April 3rd (in stores)::::: 50% one full price item with 40% off the rest of your order/purchase.
